The Nutella spaceship is a unique experience. It has everything I want in a sweet pastry. I’ve only ever gotten this and a plain croissant and these alone give me confidence that every single item they sell is fantastic. The spaceship is a roll of croissant dough thats been proofed and baked into a unique shape with Nutella in it, dipped in white chocolate then shortbread crumbs. Topped with brownie bites. It is chocolatey, flakey, stretchy, salty, buttery goodness. Absolutely in love. The lamination on this thing is so consistent and perfect, really an impressive and tasty creation.

Black Box Bakery has always lot's of delicious items. They make all their baked goods fresh. It's one of my favorite bakeries in the denver metro area. During the week the options are a bit limited. So it's best to go on the weekends when they have to most to choose from. But most likely you will find their a huge waiting line as well.

I have wanted to visit Black Box for a really long time. My wife and I finally got the opportunity to visit this morning and we will definitely be coming back. We ordered a Blackberry Yuzu Mini Croissant Cube, a Thai Tea/Boba Cruffin, a Mothership latte, and a Cappuccino with Caramel syrup. Just as imagined, the pastries practically exploded as only the best laminated doughs do upon the first bite. The creams in both pastries were divine and leaving us craving every item on their menu. Only drawback is their location inside the Edgewater Public Market. While it is unstable for the sustainability of the buisness cost wise, markets like the Edgewater Public Market do little for the atmosphere of individual businesses and leaves me feeling like the experience is always incomplete. Regardless of their lack of an individual building to call their own, they make up for it with merch, and quality that will have us coming back again and again!

I really enjoy this small little bakery that you can find in Edgewater Public Market that serves pastries, croissants, and coffee items. The parking lot is a good size and I didn’t have a hard time finding a spot and luckily in the front, but of course this was a little later in the morning, so I most likely beat the rush. I wish I stayed longer in the area to try more pastries both savory and sweet, but I enjoy what I was able to try. I grabbed an iced beverage and one sweet and savory item to eat. The first was their sausage roll which I did enjoy but was a little bit more on the saltier side, but the croissant helped balance it out. I also had their raspberry croissant/ muffin, cruffin. And it was delightful. I thought it would be dry, but the croissant was of course delicious and flakey and filled with a thick raspberry flavored cream. The staff here is efficient, and the waiting time was minimal, but again I’m sure on busier days, I am sure there would be a longer line than the one I waited in. I would come back again.
