La Calle Grill

Hands down, the best birria tacos and horchata I’ve had in my life. The tacos were packed with flavor, perfectly juicy, and cooked to perfection. And the horchata? Absolutely incredible smooth, refreshing, and not overly sweet. La Calle Grill truly knows how to do authentic Mexican food right. I’ll 100% be coming back and recommending this place to everyone.

Here from out of state looking for good tacos and non-chain food I cannot find back home. Los amigos at La Calle Grill did NOT disappoint. Pastor was ON point. Perfectly seasoned meat, La barbacoa, ni se diga-perfectly made. We also tried the asada, super flavorful!! We were also given a variety of salsas with our tacos to kick it up a notch. We had to have our Coca Cola envasada de Mexico, to wash down our tacos. iykyk! And Just for kicks I decided to try the horchata iced coffee.. just bc I tried Starbucks and didn’t like it. Starbucks has Nothing on this perfectly measured out drink! Just the right amount of coffee to not drown out the creamy horchata! The food is your typical REAL “street tacos” Cherry on top was the friendliest individual’s running it. Service with a smile. Genuine people. Definitely going back before heading home.

Coming from San Diego, I am very selective with Mexican, and Im usually skeptical about food trucks in general. Went to a dispo (Native Roots) and they recommended it, said the elote and carnitas was good. It was hidden behind the store in the back of the parking lot, people are missing out if driving by! Decided to give the elote a try on my way out, hands down the best elote cup I have had outside of San Diego. It's a soupy mixture, which some don't enjoy, but I loved it! They accidentally made some al pastor tacos for a prior customer who didn't want onions and cilantro on it, so they gave it to me for free. Got it home and had the hubby try, he said they were very close to San Diego al pastor. We will definitely be going back!
