I have a long history with Bar404, spanning over 10 years, two ownerships and 3 names. I’ve been part of the crowd at shows, part of the show in crowds with my FirePower Productions organization and, sometimes, I’m just there to watch a game without having anything to do with a stage… Now owned by the dynamic duo husband-wife team, Kerry and Jeannie, it seems the establishment is finally finding a true identity. The music they’ve got going regularly, both local and touring in all genres, shows they’ve definitely got an ear for terrific talent. They’ve become a regular venue for local nonprofit and fundraising events in an effort to pay it forward. They’ve an awesome biweekly Yoga Mayhem concept, stretching the music venue boundaries. And, of course, there’s football screens every Sunday!! All and all, this venue isn’t just a neighborhood corner bar but a community-building legacy in the making that the northern part of what becomes South Broadway has needed. It’s been absolutely wonderful watching this iteration of the landmark building grow! I met Kerry in 2021, just as he had signed the lease for 404 and sold out his share of his previous partnership. He had big plans for the place, expanding the stage and building in the garage door that the previous owner had always wanted. With his wife as his partner and son behind the bar most days, you’re supporting everything that is small business and family owned, family operated by being a patron. I can’t think of a better, more invested family to support! After having known them socially for a while, as well as having musician friends that had worked with them, I reached out to them as I began thinking of a Christmas season series of popups for my live art production company. I had two events with them and my team. They were everything that is great to work with, with a staff that’s beyond engaged and helpful. I can’t recommend them more for anyone looking to have an event of any size! Long and short, as a patron and as talent that’s been onstage, if you’re looking for a good time or to show folks a good time, THIS IS YOUR PLACE for a midrange venue and full service bar food at a midrange price… otherwise, just pop in and enjoy the ambiance at the rail, at a high top, in a booth or on the great patio.

The best hangout!!! Great food, even better music. Friendly service, eclectic crowd, lively FUN social environment. Big TV's on the bar side for live sports. Love that my teens can attend shows (with a guardian) and that it's such a welcoming and safe place for them to rock out.

Went to see a teenage punk rock band play and just loved the friendly staff, bar man, and the space in general. Strange though this will sound, Bar 404 is a family friendly establishment judging by so many who congregated around tables near the stage area or bar area enjoying their tasty food while listening to live music😬!
