Urban Egg

I was surprised at how much we enjoyed this place. We never try new breakfast places anymore because we have our favorite in town. I'm glad we finally stopped in here! We started with the Billion Dollar Bacon. Thick, savory, and sweet. Usually specialty bacon like this doesn't wow me but we really enjoyed it. I got their "Award Winning" Biscuit and Gravy which is honestly some of the best I've had in town. The gravy was thick.and full of flavor. I would come back just for this! My roommate got the Denver Hot Chicken Benedict. We thought Egg, Hollandaise, Blue Cheese, Buffalo and Ranch sounded like a lot but it was actually the perfect combination. The buffalo sauce and chicken are very good and I would eat it alone on a sandwich. We will definitely be back to try other things but the biscuits and gravy will keep me coming back!

We got a flight of their gourmet pancakes; cinnamon swirl, Hawaiian and the blueberry, and the breakfast burrito. The burrito we got with the red sauce and thankfully we did because it still had a kick. The burrito was good with a nice combination of flavors, and the hash browns were perfectly crispy and seasoned. The only comment would be the beans on the plate, there were so few and so bland they didn't match the rest of the meal. The pancakes were normal pancakes but with different flavors on them. I liked the cinnamon the best, it was simple and like cinnamon sugar and butter on a pancake. My wife liked the blueberry the best, but kept saying it tasted like cranberries. The Hawaiian was exactly as you would expect.

It was a little difficult finding parking nearby but once I got there, they seated me quickly and took my order quickly too. I was visiting from out of town so I wanted to try something unique to Denver and they delivered. We ordered meals with their award winning gravy and finished with a gourmet pancake! Everything came out quickly, hot and delicious! Their plates are huge so this was a filling breakfast!

Urban Egg Cherry Creek is a fantastic breakfast spot! The menu is full of creative and delicious options, making it hard to choose. I loved the fresh ingredients and generous portions. The vibe is casual and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed morning meal. The staff was friendly and efficient, adding to the overall great experience. Highly recommend the signature dishes!
