Great place for pub Faire and drink. Absolutely a place I recommend for ye olde and authentic British food and drink. The menu has all the classics and rhe beers are a great match. Great cocktails, food and the staff amazing. This restaurant is located inside the Gaylord Rockies Resort and well worth the visit. I recommend the Bangers and Mash as well as the pie. Great desert and love the ambiance. A must!

Great food but terrible service! Usually we’re pretty chill and understanding because we realize the hospitality industry is struggling but this was BAD. Went to the Fortunate Prospector last night for dinner with my husband and the restaurant was not extremely packed at the time but service was so slow! It took about 10 minutes before we had to flag down an employee walking by for waters and then it was another few minutes before our official waitress came. Water was never refilled the entire hour and a half we were there and even when we did finally order drinks it took another 10-15 minutes to arrive once we ordered them and the bar was empty. Appetizers were great we ordered the English bread and curry chips 10/10 recommend! He had the fish and chips which he gave a 10/10 and I had the bangers and mash which I gave an 8/10.

Very nice place! If you’re in the mood for a Pub-style dining experience, the Fortunate Prospector will certainly exceed your expectations. I recommend the Fish n Chips paired with a Fuller’s English Pride. The amber ale’s bitter, hoppy taste cuts through the oils from the fish n chips. The reason I’m giving the service 4 stars is just because of capacity, we had to wait about 15-20 after we were seated to actually have our orders taken. The food was a bit slow to roll out, but when it did come out we were very satisfied! It was hot, fresh, and crispy straight from the kitchen. Our server was very pleasant, but had quite a few tables to cover, so we didn’t see much of him, it wasn’t that busy overall, so I’d say they just need to add a couple more servers to the rotation.

Enjoyed this pub at the Rocky Mountain Gaylord. The burger was very good the drinks as expected and the service at the bar was great. Very friendly and prompt bartenders. The atmosphere is a fun pub vibe, not too loud.
