Super fun museum! Very interactive and great for photos. We got through it in about 40-45 minutes, so is a great place to check out if you need to kill some time. Didn't need tickets in advance but went on a Monday at 11am.

I really enjoyed my visit to the Museum of Illusions. It’s located on 16th Street, which is already a great area for a walk and people-watching, especially after the reopening in November 2025. The museum itself is a bit smaller than I expected, but honestly, that didn’t take away from the experience at all. It’s incredibly fun, creative, and perfect if you love taking photos. I spent about two hours there and had a great time. What truly stood out to me the most was the staff. They were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They explained the exhibits whenever something wasn’t immediately clear and even helped take amazing pictures. Hands down, some of the best museum staff I’ve ever encountered. I went on a Friday night expecting it to be crowded, but thankfully it wasn’t too busy, which made the experience even better. Overall, I really enjoyed my time there and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and unique activity in downtown Denver.

My daughter came to town and we wanted to do something special and fun. This was a great family-friendly activity. The Museum of Illusions is incredibly unique and entertaining. We spent about two hours going through all the exhibits at a leisurely pace. The staff is so helpful and they happily set up and take photos for you. The gift shop has lots of cool stuff too.

We came by while in Denver. It’s $30 a person and you get to walk through at your own pace. They have workers to help take pictures for you. Lots of pretty need exhibits. The craziest one is the tunnel you walk through. That one’s trippy. It took us about 20 mins to go through the whole thing, we didn’t stop and wait in line to take pics at most of the exhibits though. It was a cool experience but probably one I will only do once.
