A MUST for breakfast: Being your pup and sit on the heated & covered patio! The have a poloroid photo wall of the pups. It’s half service, staff was great. Have some fresh squeezed OJ or latte (cafe de olla). Then order the best chilaquiles (I had the with the verde sauce ⭐️ 11/10!!) The pozole was also very good!

DELICIOUS FOOD! Staff were all amazing and the atmosphere is nice. The patio is pet friendly and they had it heated (my mom loved it because she's always cold this time of year). Their food portions are big and their drinks taste amazing. We got their cafe de olla and matcha and had to take some to go. Will definitely be back when visiting Denver for their amazing food and so Millie (our dog) can join us.

We checked out Hoja for breakfast on a Saturday and loved it. There is a covered, heated patio in the back that is clean, warm in chilly weather, and dog friendly. I ordered a daily special, the Chupa Cabra burrito, made gluten free. (They use 4 corn tortillas in place of the flour wrap.) Kids ordered waffles, and I also got the almond chai. ALL were delicious (the photos don’t do it justice.) I ate most of my burrito but left room for a gluten free Tahini Blondie. When we left at 10:15, more customers were heading in for brunch. I can tell this is a neighborhood favorite, especially by their Hall of Fame (dozens of Polaroids up on the wall of local pups). This place is good for a date, or family outing, or just grab and go. I wish we lived closer, we would eat here a bunch!

Super fresh, well-executed dishes and drinks! We were blown away by the quality of the food here. I had a pork quesadilla that was big, full of tender, flavorful pork and bursting with stringy white cheese- it was simply amazing. The side salad was so fresh. Even the simple black bean dip that came with chips and salsa was really complex and immediately screamed "comfort food". The chilequiles were phenomenal and super filling. We got some pazole to take home and it comes with a huge kit of toppings. On to the drinks. We got the yerba matte which was citrus and refreshing as well as a horchata negra which was so dang good and unique. Lots of nice garden seating too for when the weather is nice. All in all, this is now in my top 3 denver spots!
