Plaza Premium Lounge

Stopped in on my layover. Had great food,a nice gin and tonic before taking a shower. It was a really nice way to spend a layover. The staff were absolutely fantastic.

On 15 December 2025 at around 12:30 AM, I visited the Premium Plaza Lounge, Denver Airport (Terminal A) while traveling with my daughter. I have traveled to more than 50 countries and was flying Business Class on this journey. I initially visited the United Lounge, but due to very limited food options, I chose to come to the Premium Plaza Lounge specifically to use my American Express card, expecting a better premium experience. However, before even entering the lounge, the staff member at the escalator desk behaved in an arrogant, dismissive, and uninterested manner. She bluntly stated that American Express was not allowed and mentioned a long waitlist, without any effort to explain properly, check eligibility, or communicate respectfully. I fully understand capacity limitations, but there is absolutely no excuse for poor attitude and lack of basic hospitality, especially in a lounge that markets itself as “premium.” Frequent international travelers and families deserve respectful and professional treatment, regardless of crowd conditions. This experience reflects very poorly on Plaza Premium’s service standards. Management should urgently review staff behavior, training, and customer-handling etiquette at this location.

I had a 4-hour stopover in Denver and this was 100% sure the best place I could stay. The staff was super friendly and willing to help at all times, they never stopped making sure I had a high level experience and exceptional service, this made the difference. Highly recommended!

This is a fantastic lounge that was opened in partnership with Capitol One. Visitors can enter for free with two guests with the Capitol One Venture X credit card. There is a grab and go food station for those that are in a rush. Guests can enter up to 3 hours prior to their flight. There are lots of food and drink options. There are private work areas as well as relaxation rooms. This is a beautiful lounge.
