Things to Know
A standout airport restaurant with genuinely friendly, efficient servers and fresh-made food that actually tastes good, though prices are steep even by airport standards.

Drinks were good but at airport prices. I wanted to try out Etai’s once. It was decent place to visit but the prices were high. Nothing really stood out. Server was attentive and nice.

Place was easy to get to, seating was fast and prompt. The waitress was kind and friendly, and did not waste time on lengthy pleasantries. That is a plus in an airport setting, as most of us are on a time crunch. Prices were decent by airport standards. We were grabbing a quick lunch before our connecting flight to SFO, and this was the right spot to stop. Quick food, which tasted as if it was just made, not frozen waiting for a flash fry. Fries were very good, fresh, and the chipotle aioli was impressively smooth.

On one of the worst traveling day’s I’ve had, this was the best part of my trip. My server, Eyerusalam, was fantastic! She learned my named instantly, was so nice, and made my trip so much more manageable. I wasn’t very hungry at the time but I knew I might be a bit so I ordered the flatbread pizza (cheese). I didn’t think I’d finish it or that I’d probably nurse it for the couple hour layover I had, but after about 5 minutes it was already gone! I don’t think I’ve ever had a restaurant at an airport that I’d actually want to remember to come back to, and this was the first. Would recommend to any wayward traveler in need of respite. It’s not cheap but it is airport food, so that’s expected.

The Paleo bowl isn't what it use to be. It use to have roast beef, but now has small pellet size meat of some sort now. Also their cookie recipe needs to be changed. The thick cookies we bought are rock hard, dry, and not good at all. We were hoping for some soft, buttery cookies, but we're much disappointed. The service was excellent though, so that helped a little.
