I’ve been to Japon Sushi multiple times now and they don’t miss! Our family’s favorite is the boat of rolls and sushi and the spicy seafood noodles; we get it every time as long as there’s enough of us there. The service is incredible- the last time we were there, the owner remembered that I had asked for a substitution for one of the rolls and suggested that my family order it again for me (I was running late and definitely appreciated this). If you’re looking for a new local sushi spot, this is it 🥰

We took a risk on the chef’s choice sushi boat for 2 since the reviews are overwhelmingly positive….but it was more like chef’s leftovers ): It was $80 & we were quoted it’d be 2 rolls, about 10 nigiri, 12 sashimi by our waiter, so it seemed like a really good deal. The good: White Tuna nigiri (2 pc) was buttery and delicious, yellow tail sashimi (3 pc) was good, all the fish was fresh and was very large cut pieces. Sushi rice was seasoned nicely. The bad: we have never been here before, so I tried to tell the waiter that but i don’t think he heard me. When the sushi boat arrived the waiter set it down and left with no explanation of what any of the fish or rolls were and only came back 1x time while we were eating. We eat sushi a lot, so we could figure most of it out. I was disappointed they gave us a Cali roll & shrimp nigiri. The Tuna fish (2 pc nigiri & 3 pc sashimi) had no flavor at all, had no fat on it anywhere. It was like grocery store sushi. It was a huge miss & was our least favorite fish on the boat (tuna is usually our favorite). The salmon had very little flavor, the red snapper was just ok. It’s crazy to say the roll with spicy tuna/cucumber inside and eel/avocado on the outside was the best thing on the boat, since I never order eel. Unfortunately we didn’t think it was worth $100 for 2 out the door.

Just had lunch there and it was delicious. They have special Korean dishes you should try! Agujjim was really well marinated and our Korean elders enjoyed it. Also worth trying is the spicy udon, tastes like jjambbong. Kids loved the udon and chicken fried rice. Sushi plates are beautifully plated. All their decorations and plates, utensils, etc. are nice and thoughtfully planned out! Love it! Wanted to try the dduk galbi but they ran out.

Delicious sushi roll options in the Centennial area. Easy parking in the complex right behind their shop, and incredibly friendly wait staff. Sitting near the sushi counter gave us a chance to watch the chef prepare our rolls from a distance, and seeing how light hearted and friendly our server was while going about the restaurant. We are still talking about these rolls a week later and would get again in a heart beat. Rolls pictured (not left to right) are: Broncos roll, Cornerstar roll, Godzilla roll, Mango Roll, and Japón roll. All were absolute winners.
