I had a good experience at Villa Italian Kitchen, which is next to Gate 39 in Terminal C. The staff was very helpful, answering all of my questions. I had a Stromboli, which was hot and fresh, right out of the oven. The staff recommended it, and they were right! There really isn’t much “atmosphere”—no place to sit and relax, no music playing. I ended up taking the food to my gate, which wasn’t far. Overall, I enjoyed my visit!

It's a cafeteria style italian restaurant at the denver airport. It's exactly as good as you expect. Meatballs were an odd texture. If you could imagine a semi dense piece of flesh, without connective tissue that's likely what you're getting. The texture is as if clay was less dense. Flavor wise, the front end is actually relatively sound and savory. On the back end of the meatball, you're left with salty regrets. The macaroni and cheese is both light on the cheese and heavy on butter or grease? But overall not an unsatisfactory experience. Would recommend for portion, as I'm sure I ate 2000 calories in a single entree and general taste. Staff was helpful. Atmosphere was airport cafeteria. It is what it is.

I was pleasantly surprised with Villa Italian Kitchen. Frustrated with the prices across the airport during my connection I was ready to skip lunch. I saw the combo and decided to give it a try. I did the stromboli combo with a meatball as the side and added a garlic roll for about $17 after tax. All of the food was more filling and fresher than I expected. Both bread items were super soft and flavorful, too. The filling in the supreme stromboli seemed to just be pepperoni and cheese, I didn't taste much else. Prices were still a little high, even for an airport, but definitely a great value compared to other spots in Terminal C. I would go back.
