How this is written: we run the full set of recent Google reviews through AI to pull out what guests consistently say — including the complaints, which is why there's a downsides list rather than only the good bits. It's rewritten as new reviews come in, so it describes the hotel as it is now, not as it was whenever someone last got round to writing a paragraph about it. Read the reviews yourself on Google Maps.

Eldorado state park is a nice state park to explore. The road is pretty narrow but there are plenty of turnouts to pull over if need be. This park has a few hiking trails and is popular for rock climbing. The views in the park are spectacular. There are a few bathrooms along the way that are vault toilets. There is a kiosk at the entry to purchase a pass after timed entry hours. Check the website as holidays and weekends require a timed entry reservation. The park ranger was visible and very friendly. He asked if we needed any assistance and provided us some guidance.

Excellent views await at the end of this trail. The trail is rocky for the first quarter mile or so and the hills are a challenge. Once you get to the Continental Divide overlook it’s worth the trip. Added a few photos to help

I think it was $10 to get in. So worth the money. They had rock climbers. I just got dizzy watching them They had a nice path for walking. Dogs were allowed. But this is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. I highly recommend it.

We parked at Crescent Meadows Trailhead and walked a couple of miles down Walker Ranch Loop. Scenic views, nice trail. It was about 90 outside with full sun, which is why we didn't go far. Easy parking at trailhead.
