This is an awesome collection of WWII aircraft. I took the guided tour of the restoration center and it was awesome and if you are there you should definitely take it. I purchased tickets online and saved a small amount of money. They offer both guided and unguided tours. An original Lindbergh plane is on display and all planes are flyable. Our guide said that during the summer they fly a different plane each month. This is an incredible museum that is currently being expanded.

Amazing air museum and the work they do on restorations is jaw dropping! John, our tour guide for the restoration area, was so informative and provided stories that were fascinating. Vern got us started on the simulator and his enthusiasm for the planes, hands on simulators and joy of teaching made the experience amazing. Every docent we walked by were so helpful and their passion for aviation and this museum was apparent. When we visit CO Springs next year, we will be sure to visit again to see what new planes are on display and being worked on.

Amazing collection of WWII aircraft. Very well curated and interesting for all ages. Interesting to see the restoration shop working on the planes, Mark was an excellent tour guide. The kids really enjoyed the flight simulator. Scooter was provided for Grandpa. All of the volunteers were very kind and informative. I would recommend going online to checkout their schedule of flights as the entire collection is airworthy!

We loved the museum; they have a variety of airplanes and very interesting artifacts. The tour we took was guided by Tom, and he's a wonderful person. He told us anecdotes, answered all our questions, and was very kind to our children. The staff in general were very friendly.
