Greatly appreciate the fact that St. Louis Park treats us as a regular outdoor rink with open ice so you don’t have to pay for. Unbelievable place.

Always enjoy watching hockey here! Plenty of good "board space" to stand and watch, or bleachers if you prefer sitting.

Beginners beware! If you’re coming here for open skate to practice and learn this might not be the place to go. This facility has no one around to ensure no stick or pucks are being used on the ice. You’ll also encounter football being played on the ice. It’s a very intimidating environment to practice and learn and build skills. I’ve been to other facilities where folks are more respectful and allow skaters at all levels enjoy their time during open skate. The facility is clean and nice and the outdoor ice is good as well.

It is always nice to come, but there was an excessive amount of dust on the floor that made skating very slippery. Next time I will bring a broom or ask a custodian there for one. I have always found them to be very helpful.
