Went here for the first time. It's a cool little venue especially for metal, punk and counterculture shows. But THE STAGE IS WAY TOO LOW for the capacity of this place. You have to be at least 6 foot 7" to see the band members! Also didn't get pat down, metal detectors, bag checks so I am unsure of the security here. The sound seemed good even with my earplugs in. Overall not a bad venue but with such a low stage to see the band playing if you aren't in the first 3 standing rows I will have to pick and choose carefully for attending future shows here.

This is a cool venue, it's well laid out, the sound is decent, and it's a good place for metalheads and punks to come mosh and have a good time. However, there's absolutely nothing in the way of security at the door. Unlike pretty much at any other venue, there are no bag checks or metal detectors. Unfortunately, in this day and age it makes me feel a little unsafe.

The people at HQ were great but I cannot recommend the venue. It was so hot and humid in there and this is CO....so the humid was probably people contributed. Ewww. I don't plan to go back but I can't say "don't go see your favorite band" based on my experience.
