Legacy Pie Co.- Wash Park

I love, love, love legacy pie. They have the most amazing pies I have ever had. Everyone in my family loves them and it's a must on any celebration. The best is that the pies are always stuffed with fresh fruits and they don't cut back on the ingredients!

Great pies, but do not preorder a pie for Thanksgiving. They did not handle preorders well. Waited in line for nearly 40 minutes to pick up preordered pies. They had a separate line for walk-ins that was 10 minutes or less. Very frustrating.

Swung by this place on my way south to grab something for dinner and was immediately welcomed by the staff. They have both savory and sweet options but I love they have small pie versions of their offerings because I really don’t need to kill a full sized pie on my own. I picked up the chicken pot pie, a small cherry pie and they had a seasonal scone on display when I asked what it was they said it was “pumpkin choco chip” to which I replied “say less” and it also was coming home with me. As I snacked on the pumpkin scone I was blown by how tasty it was, not dense, not dry but perfect crumb with the right amount of spices and sweetness. Also cracked into the chicken pot pie for dinner and it was a really solid dinner, the filling was on point with flavor and the pie crust was flaky and buttery. All in all I really enjoyed everything I ordered, happy this place isn’t too far from home…but far enough not to be a temptation on the daily.

My brother recommended we come here and we ended up getting a five dollar credit on a cutie pie and ordered a mixed berry and cherry pie and I have to say wow these are absolutely delicious!! I’m a mixed berry kind of gal and this was absolutely delicious 😋 . I eat every piece and lick the plate! 🍽️ decadent, small compact + perfectly packaged! And when I got home, I found a birthday surprise of another discount and I will definitely be back!! They have amazing siders and also pie fillings at the store and incredibly friendly staff!!
