I would never have found this gem if not for Yelp Elite Week, and SOOOO glad I did. My weekend visit will definitely not be my last, and I might be creating excuses to cruise down South Broadway in the future. Quick back story. I found a little known sandwich shop in Vegas last month that had the best sandwiches I have had in quite a long time, and I have been aching to find a spot like that in Denver. Well, I found it. Kub greeted us, and him and team made our experience personal, friendly, efficient, and elevated. To drink, my wife had the iced matcha and I had the Earl Grey Iced Tea. The wife got the Elisa and I had the Loretta for our sandwich choices. Both were good in their own different way, and not sure who won the food battle on this day. I will say that the Dijon spread on hers was so unique and tasty. The sandwiches. Making a good sandwich isn't exactly splitting the atom in nature, but the ingredients obviously make or break it. The fresher they are, the better it tastes. And these ingredients not only had great taste, but the freshness of each was a game changer, to say the least. The sandwich was not some huge sandwich that I couldn't finish, and I liked that a lot. The bread was leaner in presentation and SOOO fresh. Magical. They made a mistake initially with my order, but not only did they let me take it home, but it made another meal this weekend ridiculously good. I also purchased a cookie on the way out, and it never made 3 minutes on the drive home. Very clean place, good background music, nice sitting area. My only suggestion is to have the food delivered with a little more personalization. That would have clarified the mistaken order. But, that is nothing to drag my rating down from a strong five, and the food was incredible. If you are also looking for that money place for a great sandwich, this place deserves your immediate attention. The sandwiches are...magical...heavenly...choose your own adjective to define an elevated taste experience. I definitely recommend this place highly, and see you there...

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the focaccia making class! We were greeted by Izzy, who is just delightful! Jan is a friendly, patient and thorough instructor. He was assisted by a lovely young woman (her name escapes me (sorry)), who made sure we had everything we needed, gave pointers and answered procedural questions. The class was well-paced and just enough hands on activity. It was fun to get to taste our work at the end...loved having the meats and cheese to make a sandwich with our creation! Also, we were excited to get to take a batch of dough to bake at home.

Super friendly staff and awesome pastries, coffees and sandwiches! I got the Antonella Panini with salami added and had it toasted there, which was a great call to eat it hot. I also got some great sourdough loafs and look forward to coming back for some pastries. Pro tip is to arrive early because they do sell out relatively quickly, both for pastries and their paninis. They also have an awesome lineup of baking classes that all look great too.

My husband and I took the pasta+gossip class Tuesday, 1/6/26. It was such a wonderful experience, I couldn't wait to leave a review. Zach was an incredible host with a funny icebreaker at the beginning; and he also shared travel and cooking memories of his life. We learned how to make various types of pasta, Apple herb ricotta filling for the pasta, brown butter, and Pasta e Fagioli. The pace of the class was perfect. There is a camera on the ceiling pointed down at what he is doing and projecting the steps onto 2 large monitors on either side for the class to see. There were 4 people per table, enough for 16 people. Zach visited each table multiple times throughout the class for additional pointers and recommendations. Zach showed us how to mix the eggs and flour to make the dough, knead the dough, roll and cut the pasta, then fill it and create at least 4 different types of pasta. I was pleasantly surprised that you do not have to be a chef to take this class (I actually hate cooking, and loved this class!!!). While we were making the pasta, they were boiling it to serve to us with candied speck pork, olive oil and freshly grated cheese. My husband asked how to make ravioli, which wasn't on the agenda. Zach showed him and our table practiced several rounds of this. He even packaged up leftovers for tomorrow and advised how to store and cook. By the end of the class, the pasta e fagioli was cooked to perfection which we then enjoyed in the cafe, along with wine and cookies. Not just any cookies, but delicious cookies the size of your hand cookies (sourdough chocolate chip and pistachio/chocolate chip). Delicious!!! All around, we were thoroughly impressed with how well organized the class was, Zach's knowledge, friendliness and professionalism; not to mention the stellar facility, staff and class. Lastly, socializing and meeting new people was an added plus! 5 stars to Zach, Rebel Bread, his assistant (Jahn?) and the rest of the staff that make this place shine. We will be back for the sourdough bread, tortillas and dog treats classes! Not to mention the cookies, pastries, bread, sandwiches and anything else we have yet to try! Can't wait. Thank you so much for a stellar evening!!! There is plenty of parking in the lot in front of the bakery.
