This property excels with genuinely caring staff who go above and beyond, making it feel like a home away from home rather than just a hotel stay. Known for: spacious rooms, exceptional staff, outdoor kitchen vibes.
Staff consistently provides exceptional, personalized service across all shifts—front desk team members like Tom, Cameron, Coco, and Christina are frequently praised for warmth and helpfulness. Spacious rooms with kitchen amenities and pull-out sofas are perfect for families or extended stays. Outstanding snow removal and winter maintenance keep parking lots and walkways safe during Colorado winters. Outdoor patio with a full kitchen and grill is a unique amenity that sets it apart from typical chain hotels. Convenient location near Starbucks, Einstein Bros. Bagels, restaurants, train station, and highway access. Breakfast quality is notably better than typical hotel offerings, especially the eggs.
WiFi speeds are significantly slow (1-5 mbps) even with paid upgrades; an Ethernet cable connection to the TV box is necessary for reliable work or streaming. Highway noise from proximity to the interstate may disturb light sleepers. One guest reported adverse reactions to heavy mosquito spray application and mattress off-gassing odors. 100% cancellation policy with no flexibility.
Baker is a great base for exploring Denver. It's known for its walkable streets, local restaurants, and access to the rest of the city.

This Marriott property has truly become my husband’s and I home away from home — our second home in every sense of the word. From the moment we arrive, it’s clear that the team here not only understands Marriott standards but lives them daily. The staff consistently goes above and beyond, providing exceptional service with genuine care, professionalism, and warmth. The maintenance department deserves special recognition. Any issue we’ve ever encountered has been addressed immediately and efficiently, always exceeding expectations. That level of responsiveness speaks volumes about the pride they take in their work. Being located in Denver, winter weather is a reality, and the snow removal here is outstanding. The parking lot and walkways are always cleared promptly and thoroughly, which is critical during snowy months and provides peace of mind and safety for guests. We also truly enjoy the outdoor patio, which features an incredible outdoor kitchen and grill. It’s a wonderful space to relax and adds a unique touch that sets this property apart. This hotel consistently delivers the quality, consistency, and care that Marriott is known for. We are beyond grateful for the entire team. This property is truly a hidden gem.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fabulous. Our flight didn’t arrive until after midnight, so we called the front desk ahead of time—and they were incredibly understanding and even waited for us to check in around 12:30 a.m. Tom at the front desk was especially kind and welcoming. If you don’t already have a Bonvoy account, let him sign you up! The room was perfect for our small family, and the location couldn’t have been better. There’s a Starbucks nearby, plus an Einstein Bros. Bagels with an amazing mountain view. We were in town to surprise our family for Christmas, and the responsiveness of the host (Airbnb) along with the genuine kindness of the hotel staff made our vacation completely stress-free. We would absolutely stay here again—my boys especially loved the pull-out sofa!

Staff at this location are top notch! I met with several front desk workers and didn't matter if it was first thing in the morning, afternoon, or midnight they all were polite and helpful. Coco, Cameron, and many others keep things running like a well oiled machine. The only gripe I have at all about this place is the WiFi speeds are rather abysmal. Expect speeds from 1mbps to 5mbps even with the upgrade (ping 200ms+). If business is critical, you MUST get an Ethernet cable and plug into the TV box for Internet speeds capable of work or entertainment. Outside of my gripe with WiFi, the room was clean and came stocked with a few pots and pans to cook with. Great option if you want something affordable and offering a "townhome" atmosphere. Quick access to the train station and interstate next door. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance too. Highway noise may be a problem for light sleepers.

worst place to stay. they have mosquito spray applied densely in the room. caused me fever coz of breathing the spray 24 by 7. keeping the window open did not help. They provided a soda based soap which gave me skin irritation. Their mattresses are offgassing and have green tea smell. They have 100% cancellation charges..Do not fall in the trap.
