Ordered the meatballs, spaghetti arrabbiata, and steak gnocchi. Meatballs were very bland - drenched in mashed potatoes and butter with no seasoning. The pasta in the spaghetti was really mushy and fell apart when you picked it up with a fork. Ordered the steak as medium rare and came out very well done. The service here is excellent. Our waitress is extremely friendly and checked in with us an appropriate amount of times. She was honestly the best part of our experience here. Will be skipping on this restaurant next time visiting this neighborhood. If you are going to eat here, make a reservation ahead of time.

We've eaten here numerous times in the last 20 years and it is always so tasty. Be sure to save room for dessert (this is the rare place where I always get dessert because it's so good). The pastas are fresh and house made. I've tried many of their entrees and enjoyed them all. The appetizers are also worthwhile (though not at the expense of dessert) tomato bisque and carrot salad always a winner (with house made dressing). The wine list changes regularly, always offering lovely options by glass or bottle and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

This place is a hidden gem. The good news is there is a strip mall parking lot across the street because on street parking is scarce. The bison meatballs are excellent and the Ceasars salad is good. I had the steak with gnocchi and it was excellent! The gnocchi was home made and flavorful. My wife had the pasta rigate and the sauce was amazing and the noodles were homemade. We will be back soon to try more!!

Trattoria Stella has been really good in the past. It's been a while since we've dined in. We ordered the squid ink mustard brie and pesto shrimp gnocchi dishes. Understandably, these are both supposed to be "wow" dishes, but they were incredibly over-enginered, WAY TOO RICH, and just frankly disappointing! Apps also had way too much seasoning and cheese. Trattoria, go back to your former light but delightful preparation. We won't be going back anytime soon.
