Sometimes you crave food that is familiar to you. Something homey. This is what eating here felt like. The food is so tasty. I had a shrimp tostada (Tostada de Camarón) and a steak red gordita (Gordita Roja de Asada). The tostada had a savory, crunchy, and I believe home made torilla—It had to be homemade because era la mejor tostada de mi vida—that was layered with smothered beans, hot grilled shrimp, thinly cut lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheese, and cream. The shrimp was well seasoned and hot alongside the beans. The lettuce and tomatoes were so fresh and gave each bite a refreshing balance. The cheese and cream and a different lightness. It the best tostada I have ever had. They made something I would consider a simple dish in to a new delicious experience. The gordita was absolutely devine. The masa that was used had so much flavor. It was stuffed with smothered beans, Asada that was not too salty or bland and well cut, crunchy lettuce, and firm tomatoes. I will not be able to go back to regular gorditas after trying this gordita Roja. It was far more flavorful. Overall, the food was some of the best food that I have ever had. This made me proud of my culture. It made me proud to be Mexican. It reminded me of home. It hit the spot perfectly. The decoration with the catrinas was beautiful and demonstrated the vibrancy of dia de los muertos. I love it. I am going to become a regular. Trust.

My husband and I were very impressed. He ordered a carnita burrito and I ordered the #1 combo (crunchy ground beef taco, cheese enchilada and beef and bean burrito.) I was very impressed with the red and green chili. And the delicious crunchy taco, OMG, homemade taco shell. The ground beef was perfect. I want to go back and order a bunch of crunchy tacos. My husband's carnita burrito was delicious, the steak was tender. He was full but he insisted on finishing his burrito. The prices affordable. I hope this restaurant exceeds your expectations. My husband told me not to brag too much bc we'll give away this hidden gem. Oh and the chips and salsa! Yummmm!!! Homemade chips, light and crispy. I really want to go back today but we were just there for dinner last night. 🤷‍♀️

Cutest bright fun Mexican restaurant with family ownership. Met the owner who said he and his father bought the place just over a year ago. We really enjoyed the posole, crispy relleno plate and barbacoa plate. They are working to get their liquor license, but we kind of liked that it was a quiet non-alcoholic experience too. Plenty of n/a drink options. The perfect lunch or casual dinner spot. Dia de Muertos theme with El Catrin and La Catrina. Loved the photo wall menu and the bright fun chairs! We wish them best of luck as they prosper in this location. Owner was so nice and took time to connect. Love places like this and we will come back soon! 🩷🧡💛💚🩵

Ground beef was old and had hard pieces all throughout the enchiladas like it’s been sitting all day. Same with the rice, beans, lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream. All just dry and no flavor and really inedible.
