Full Afterburner Calzones

First time today, battling a hangover. Was impressed. Damn good calzone, creative concepts, great prices (actually lowered them recently, which is how I discovered this place), and entertaining responses to ridiculous reviews over cilantro. Will be back often.

I ordered the Iceman with pesto. It was exactly everything a calzone should be. Perfect amount of ingredients on the inside and the crust on the outside crisp and thin. I love calzones but always thought that there was always more doe then needed. THIS PLACE HAS THE RIGHT AMOUNT! Perfect amount of food, perfect taste, and they are open late. Highly recommend. (And agree with atmosphere written above!!)

Tried Afterburner tonight with my husband. I made my own and my husband got the Tomcat. Both were delicious. Full of flavor, fresh ingredients and the owner Ben was Awesome. If you’re looking for a phenomenal calzone and awesome atmosphere and some pretty cool fighter jet stuff, this is your place!

Such a gem amongst rocks in Denver. This is such a great spot for that belly warming feel good food you need after a long day. Prices are cheap for Denver and there's a lot of options available for toppings etc. Cookies made fresh and gooey to top off a great meal or for something wetter there's a good selection of beer and drinks. Vibes are great and there's ample seating inside. Do yourself a favor and pull up to experience the Calzones first hand.
