Crab & Shell Cajun Seafood

Our new favorite seafood spot! So far, I’ve been here twice, and both visits were great. We’ve been around Colorado trying different places, but this one stands out with the freshest ingredients and tasty house-seasoned dishes. The staff are extremely friendly, too. Parking can be tricky since there’s no lot, but it’s worth the hassle.

Choosing a seafood spot late on Christmas night didn’t seem like the best idea—until we walked into Crab & Shell Cajun Seafood and were completely proven wrong. We arrived just an hour and fifteen minutes before closing, yet the service was so attentive and the food so fresh you’d think it was 11:00 in the morning. Everything was absolutely delicious. The shrimp were humongous, the mussels were incredible, and the flavors were on point. I got so messy digging in that my daughter had to remind me, “That’s why they give you gloves!” 😂 Bonus win: I finally learned how to properly eat a crab leg. The seasoning was perfection—the salt-to-flavor ratio was spot on. I had a feeling it was going to be good… I just didn’t know it was going to be this good. For a team working on Christmas, all I can say is wow. Exceptional food, outstanding service, and an unforgettable experience. I will definitely be back. 🦀✨

Very busy on a Saturday night 6pm, 1st time visiting (i wasn't thinking straight) wait didnt seem to be long but with two children (4,6) didnt want to wait long. Opted for take out and waited about 12 mind and it was prepared. It was very yummy. I am from New Orleans and have a very high standard of seafood, their spice is on point though I want the spicy to make my lips burn🌶 and my nose leak just a teensy weensy! I would go back again! My children loved their mild garlic butter crab legs and I loved my garlic butter mild 🍤 1/2 head on with 1lb crawfish. Family atmosphere, there is a bar surprisingly 🍸🍹. Combo come with two potatoes and a corn! Combed #4 was bomb!

The atmosphere was cool. It’s a cute place. The service is good but a little slow. The drink menu has a great selection and the prices are very reasonable. The food menu has a good variety of seafood.. We had a table of 9. I ordered shrimp basket w/ fries. The shrimp was seasoned very well but the batter fallls off when you bite into the shrimp. Our table also ordered gumbo, definitely from a can, it was sent back. The catfish basket was very fishy, same thing with the batter. The calamari was delicious but same problem with the batter. The seafood boils were plentiful , more seasoning could have been used.
