such a good experience, I had to write a review. I called hoping for Louisiana redfish which is not standard stock, and Jake worked his magic network to get it to me by the date i needed it. the best part is how incredible the fish was! so fresh, perfectly cleaned, and excellent quality. above and beyond my expectation. wish this place was in my neighborhood but well worth the travel!

Apologies in advance if you already know some of the details about picking lobsters. OK: Went yesterday to pick up a couple lobsters. Once I got to front of line, the guy took FOREVER to actually do anything about getting said lobsters. He did various other things before wandering back to the task at hand. And when he did, first he didn't even ask what size or anything, and got one that was sort of wandering around the tank (you want the ones in the corner, they are dominant). So I got his attention and asked for that, and the one he pulled out was just like "meh." No movement - you want them to snap tail and/or at least be generally pretty agitated when removed from the water. I asked how fresh they are - "it's still alive." Yeahhh that's OK, thanks.... And it is freaking expensive. Black cod I noticed at $40/LB (!!) for example. For the kind of snooty-neighborhood pricing and vibe the place has, it better be perfect...and it's clear I'm not alone in thinking it's not....

Coming from the East Coast, we are very picky about seafood, especially living in Denver where “fresh fish” usually means it was once near an ocean. Seafood Landing is the real deal. This place has that small town fish market feel. The same guys are always there, greeting you like an old friend and somehow remembering everything, including our dog who proudly walks in for his treat behind the counter every visit. They only sell what is fresh for that time period, and everything we have tried has been incredible. Sushi grade cuts for at home sushi night, jumbo shrimp the size of your head, or their amazing salmon sriracha burgers, it is all next level. They have even given me a lesson on how to devein a shrimp, which I never thought I would brag about but here we are. Seafood Landing is easily the freshest, friendliest, and best seafood shop in Denver. This review is long overdue and the entire team deserves all the love!

We've shopped here many times. The service is amazing, and the selection is fresh and diverse. Perhaps my poor experience was because it was the day before Christmas Eve, but we ordered a pound of Maryland jumbo lump crab. We were given crab from Indonesia for the same price as Maryland crab, and the flavor was really disappointing. Given the price point, this was really unfortunate.
