PLAYGROUND REVIEW :: This is a cute little playground, perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. The merry-go-round is a huge highlight, you almost never see these and this one is nice though older kids may run out of things to do. Would be nice if they did something in the dead space as well. Parking can be tricky along Grant Street with the steep hill, and you’ll occasionally see some vagrants in the park, but overall it still feels like a nice spot for a quick play break with younger children.

Very nice neighborhood park with a senior recreation center, an historic mansion, half court basketball and a nice shaded playground. There's a large open green space. People often walk dogs in the park. There are a number of benches to sit/rest including some that swing. This is a great place to sit with a coffee on summer mornings when it's cooler out.

Plenty of parking, like all around the 1x1 block sized park known as Platt Park. Nice area though includes a playground due the children, benches for picnics and such. Also has one of Denver Public Libraries branches here. Beautiful building with lots of information and of course, books. The other corner has another old house that is absolutely beautiful with its stone work and roof. It is a place that may be rented for events. Port o potty along the street allows for easy remedy of such things like having to go to the bathroom. Beautiful mature trees throughout this park.

Small neighborhood park but definitely a nice spot to chill, play some basketball, or take your dogs. Felt safe, clean, and nice. Not worth a trip from afar but if you’re in the area it’s worth a quick stop.
