The Wizard's Chest

This is an absolute gem of a store, but it had been a few years since I last stopped in. It was just as fun to explore as ever, and everyone my friend and I dealt with was so friendly and kind. Andrew, in particular, was so helpful and patient with all the questions I had about specialty products I needed for an upcoming costume party. I left feeling both excited about my purchase and more confident about the costume I’m putting together. They even sell saltwater taffy at the counter for thirty cents apiece, which was a nice little impulse treat after I’ve been recently craving it. Really a wonderful experience, from the moment we entered to the moment we left. 🧡

This place is AMAZING!! The staff are very friendly and helpful. My friend and I originally came here looking for a Harry Potter game and some medieval costumes, and we ended up staying for board game night and meeting some really cool people. The atmosphere is phenomenal, and they have a huge selection of games to choose from. You can even play D&D here! Plus, they have everything you could imagine to build an amazing collection. I highly recommend stopping by and checking this place out. (The escape room also looks fun!)

My husband and I were impressed by the board game selection here. Their games were priced comparatively to "regular" retail. They had a lovely selection of costumes and accessories upstairs. They also had a wonderful selection of costume and stage makeup - probably the best I've seen outside of a dedicated makeup shop.

Very cool local toy store with everything from board games to trading cards to magic supplies such a vibe makes you feel like a kid again! 10/10
