UMS - Showcase Stage

I had applied to have a free ticket since I live not too far from the mainstage. I didn’t even know it was possible until I saw the tiny text at the bottom of the site. Weeks later they respond with a pretentious and condescending email that I had been denied and that I should be fair. Last year I had to deal with heavy foot and street traffic, but I guess I had to grit my teeth and deal with it. Apparently I wasn’t within the radius which is funny cause on my block it’s mostly commercial buildings. And I’m thinking how many people actually know about the free tickets and take advantage of them? They definitely lost a concert goer in me and I’ve never been to it.

Great place to listen to live music!

They’re turning people who have official tickets away at the door because the box office to exchange it for a wristband is closed when they could have just had wristbands at the door.
