We shared an amazing LA Galbi main dish for 2! The short ribs were just perfect, and coming on a pad of smoky grilled onions and veggies flavored with beef juices. Great unlimited banchan. We also ordered traditional sparkling rice wine Makgeolli, and it paired very well with the main dish. The restaurant was a little busy when we arrived around 6 pm on a Tuesday, but the attentive service made up for the wait in full. I'm just happy that this place is in my neighborhood - will be back! UPD: we now tried a pork belly dish for two, and it's just as good as Galbi if not better. Highly recommend!!

A delicious restaurant located in a cute little area of Lowry. I've never been to this area before and was pleasantly surprised at all the cute shops! The restaurant itself is clean and has two entrances, one which leads to the main streets of the shopping street, and the other leads to the back where the parking lot is. The menu has a nice variety of dishes that you can order individually, or you can order their "mains" which are definitely enough to share for two. We got the LA kalbi main set, plus a scallion pancake, and it was more than enough for the two of us. The LA Kalbi was amazing, the meat was super tender, perfectly marinated, and came out on a steaming cast iron. The kalbi ribs sat on a bed of caramelized onions and the meal came with a nice variety of banchan as well as rice. The nice thing about this place is that sometimes when I get banchan, I only eat a few items and leave the rest, which feels like a pretty big waste of food. The banchan here are more selective but still varied, but more than enough for two people to split and feel satisfied. I think total our meal with tax and tip only ended up being around $45-ish per person, which is more than reasonable in my opinion. The waiter was super kind and attentive, and the atmosphere was wonderful. I really loved the interior decor and overall vibe of the restaurant. I'm definitely super happy with my experience here and definitely plan to come back!

Decided to pop over to a different side of town and try a new restaurant and BaekGa caught my eye. It definitely stands out amongst the other strip mall options in the area and was quite delicious. I tried the Peach Soju and a Bolgogi bowl with a Fried Egg. Both were quite delicious and I would recommend! I would have prefered a spicier option and the Bolgogi to be a bit more seared/crisp but I enjoyed the meal despite my preferences (which are of course opinions not fact).

Yummy galbi, AWESOME staff, and aesthetic interior! Also more affordable than we expected. We came for lunch but I could see this being a great after work or evening spot for shared plates + drinks.
