Everything about this place is awesome. Fast service, great food, attentive staff, and lovely decor with a fun, funky, izakaya style vibe. It even has some communal tables, wood paneled booths, etc. Love it!! And the fact that the price is fair, sushi is great, the ramen broth (especially the black garlic tonkotsu with chili) is so good... you will leave full and happy. We came for lunch so didn't order drinks but the prices again look fair and their lunch and happy hour specials look top notch. Love the buttons to call your server to order, get more napkins, get a refill, get chili oil, or get a to go box. So smart. This is a great spot! It gets busy, though, so either get there early or be prepared to wait a bit (but again things move fast, it shouldn't be too big a problem).

Katsu Ramen in Aurora is located in a somewhat tight marketplace, which can make parking a bit of a challenge. However, the experience inside makes up for it. The ambiance is relaxed with nice, chill lighting, anime decor, and a few TVs playing various programs. We visited on a weekday evening and were seated right away. The tables are placed rather close together, but it is still manageable and comfortable enough for a meal. The service was prompt, and our food came out in a timely manner. We ordered the black garlic ramen, pork gyozas, a Godzilla sushi roll, and two onigiris (salmon garlic and beef). Everything was well-prepared, flavorful, and offered some unique flavor profiles. This was my second time visiting, and the quality was very consistent with my first trip. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure to check in on the table throughout the meal. A solid, reliable choice for ramen and Japanese dishes.

This place was jam packed with several people waiting to be seated when we arrived and several more that came in behind us. That's usually a good sign. It was! We didn't wait long, less that 30 minutes and it was worth every second. I got the black garlic tonkotsu that was some of the best I've had in some time and an order of Karaage and pork gyoza. The Karaage was fantastic but the gyoza was lacking, falling apart at the seam upon contact with the chop sticks making then very hard to eat. Flavor was ok, not the best gyoza I've had by far. The interior was well decorated with a bustling high energy atmosphere. Service was good with friendly wait staff. Upon entry you sign in on a touch pad to secure your place in line and when your number is up you get a confirmation text. When seated you are given a check sheet with entree and other dining options to check off with the provided table pencils. A server comes by to collect the sheet verifing your chosen options and then fairly quickly your meal arrives. Parking here is a joke, especially in peak business hours. Get an Uber or Lyft would be my recommendation. Overall the Ramen was so good any negatives fall to the way side and if I lived in Denver this would be in heavy rotation routine wise.

My Husband took me here and I absolutely love it. The service was amazing my husband is allergic to shellfish and they made the necessary accommodations for him. He was able to have the full ramen experience. And I was anticipating the chicken Katsu curry I haven’t had since 2015 and it fulfilled my long awaited craving. I can’t wait to go back. So yummy.
