George Wallace Park is such a great spot, especially for a walk with the dog! It’s a family favorite spot to visit! The loop is big and has a little bit of everything—open grassy areas, picnic tables, and even workout equipment along the path that lots of people were using. We stopped at the playground during our walk—it’s small but fun and has all the essentials like a slide, swings, and monkey bars, which was perfect for a quick play. There’s a nice area with a water fountain and picnic tables on one end of the loop, great for relaxing. Plenty of street parking, which is always a plus. And in the winter, the hills are awesome for sledding! A super versatile park that’s great year-round.

My husband and I love this park. Centrally located in the DTC area, it’s very public and feels safe. The landscape is beautiful & nicely kept, with a variety of huge, mature trees. Last fall we encountered a photo shoot & enjoyed capturing our own gorgeous pictures in the park. We head to Wallace whenever we can!

This has become one of my favorite parks in Denver. It is Soo beautiful here, the grass is so lush, there are places to workout, run, walk, and even trees great for hanging hammocks. The water feature and architecture here are wonderful as well. The kids playground is fairly large also. Great place for a family day in nature!
