I wanted to be close to the UC hospital and clinic buildings. You can’t get any closer. It’s literally right across the street. That’s great, unless you’re a light sleeper or bothered by a lot of noise 24/7. There are ambulance with sirens blaring and the very loud “bronk bronk” at the intersection right out our window. Never mind it seems obvious that CO has no noise law against very loud mufflers. All that aside, our room #629 (top floor, corner, 2 queen beds) was nice. It’s called a large 2 room. Meaning a living/kitchen area with a separate bedroom with a door. It was very clean. The kitchen was very basically stocked. Could have used a small cutting/paring knife instead of the very large serrated knife. Only one sauce and frying pan. And, no toaster. This was the first place I’ve stayed in with a kitchen with no toaster. But, the amazing desk person found one for me to use. Talk about going out of your way! The living area is very space and sterile looking. Could use some nicer pillows and a nice comfy chair. There is plenty of room. The couch is not very comfortable. The sheets on one bed had holes and tears in the top sheet and one of the couch pillows was coming apart at the seams. Overall, if you want to be close to the hospital, this is the hotel for you. Just bring earplugs.

I stayed here with my mom a few times because it’s so close to Anschutz. I’ve always felt safe here because the parking lot is well lit and I can see my car from our room window. The breakfast is always tasty with scrambled eggs (not watery), sausage, potatoes, bread items, juices, cereal, oatmeal. There’s plenty of seating in the lobby and bar area to hang out. Highly recommend Carbon Coffee and Modern Market in the same building. The only challenge is the parking - the lot is full every night around 7pm. The solution seems to be to park in the unpaved lot.

I've stayed here about 4 different times throught the past year, it's wonderful. I've stayed in a suite everytime, and in my opinion the price for the suites is quite cheap for what you get! The rooms are elegant, desk service if you need it always comes quick and is quick to care of your needs. Heading back to denver this weekend and have a room booked already. Only complaint isn't the hotels fault, colfax is super loud throughout the night, idiots hitting 7k rpms, sirens and helicopters. But the hotel in itself is wonderful!

Checking in wasn't pleasant I had to wait 43 minutes yes it was 12 am however the time shouldn't matter the staff was very apologetic and i do understand bathroom breaks and its not easy to handle front desk with 1 staff member so i DONT blain the front desk it wasnt his fault. The pool was disgusting needs maintenance and cleaned it's so not clean and the water is so full of chlorine and salty. The breakfast is fantastic but after the time is over there's no coffee or anything else. Everything else was okay. The parking is undesirable not enough handicap parking. Booking.com had great views at 9.5 this was the reason I chose this plase. Maps views with 3 stars was probably more accurate. The king suite with kitchen i had was ok. However maintenance needs done with loose handlebar in shower and the towel rack also has screws coming out soap holder is loose. Not sure whose job it is to inspect rooms so I don't blame anyone. It was very clean. Besides that If I ever have to go back to UC health I might stay there again maybe. Not sure if it's worth the $ and disappointment. So I personally on a scale from 1-10 I give it a solid 6.
