Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park

Such a fun experience for a family. This park includes so many things we already wanted to try in Colorado. We got to ride a gondola, try a mountain coaster, go on a cave tour and ride other thrilling rides. Every employee we interacted with was so kind and helpful. The people working the mountain coaster were extra amazing. A man there spent so much time helping my 8 year old learn how to control her own vehicle. He was so patient with her. She is still talking about it days later because she enjoyed it so much. Highly recommend this park!

Had a great time here! We loved the cave tours, the rides were so unique and fun. Rides had to close down for a bit because of rain and hail but that comes with the experience of being on top of a mountain. The alpine coaster, the flyer, and the crystal palace were our favorites. This was truly a one-of-a-kind experience.

So much fun for myself and my 10&7 year old boys. I’d plan for the full day or at least most of it! Lines zero wait to just a few min right when it opens and again towards 4-close but all day there’s tons to do. It’s a smaller park in the number of rides offered but you end up going on them each a few times, plus a cave or two, plus lots of little side activities they have scattered throughout. Highly recommend the funday pass. Also bring a backpack with lots of snack varieties to keep everyone happy and energized. Bring a hat too!! They run in a light rain but not if there is lightening in the area. Tons of parking. All the employees were so friendly!

Glenwood Caverns is a true adventure for the brave ones and a lot of fun for those who can ride Defiance or brave the Giant Canyon Swing with their eyes closed and hands firmly clenched to the handles. 😅 The rides are exciting, the views are incredible, and there is plenty to do for both kids and adults. Defiance definitely lived up to its name and had me questioning some of my life choices for a fraction of a second at the top. That's all the time available for regrets before the straight-down drop! Then came 40 seconds of pure adrenaline flowing through my veins. One warning: if you don't have a strong will, avoid wandering through the gift shop. Between the endless selection of souvenirs all screaming "pick me!" and the smell of fresh fudge, your wallet doesn't stand a chance. The fudge is absolutely delicious. A fun day, incredible views, friendly staff, and memories you'll be talking about long after the adrenaline wears off.
