John Meade Park

Im so elated to have found this tranquil community park. So cozy and peaceful as I sit here on a memorial bench and reflect. 😔 The park resides with City Hall, Police and Fire Stations. 🚉 I like the cute little horse arena for horse riding. 🐎 There are many trails 👣 with wild life and a beautiful play area.for all. This is a perfect get away for the kids so pack up plenty of liquids and bring some snacks or a lunch 😋 Don't forget the sunscreen 🌞 there is minimal shaded areas. There is plenty of parking so don't be shy and bring some friends along and enjoy this fabulous park!

A great park and walk around and enjoy Colorado. The playground is a larger playground so more for 3 and older to play on. There are a lot of geese at the park and a lot of geese poop but the park is still very clean. The bathrooms are well kept and have a baby changing table in them. There is a Pavilion to have a small event at and has many picnic tables to eat at.

Nice crushed stone walking trails, flush bathrooms and water filling stations. EV charging in parking lot by police station. Wetlands habitat for nature with short boardwalks, ponds, and a nice playground.

This is a nice little park very clean with restrooms a playground, and ample handicap parking, very close to the highline canal walking trail so a good place to start and finish a walk down the trail. There is a shaded picnic area as well...
