How this is written: we run the full set of recent Google reviews through AI to pull out what guests consistently say — including the complaints, which is why there's a downsides list rather than only the good bits. It's rewritten as new reviews come in, so it describes the hotel as it is now, not as it was whenever someone last got round to writing a paragraph about it. Read the reviews yourself on Google Maps.

Fantastic coffee shop on Colfax. Menu might seem small, but the key is to sit in and enjoy a cup of coffee with their offerings of Ethiopian breakfast. Had a cup of drip coffee with ful. Drip coffee is the easiest way to taste the single-origin beans, and don't be afraid to add some sugar or honey to taste how drastically it changes the flavor profile! Ful is a fava bean dish served with fresh veggies on top and crusty bread as a scoop. The light spice, clean veggies, and toasty bread all come together in a great intro to Ethiopian cuisine if injera or spicy dishes are intimidating. Space is roomy and tastefully decorated, and their great service could be mistaken for a sit-down restaurant. Come and support them!

Beautiful and thoughtfully decorated space on what otherwise feels like the never-ending Colfax BRT construction nightmare. Bring a friend and share a delicious Ethiopian breakfast and espresso drink. This is a unique and special spot that deserves to thrive. Highly recommend and will be back.
