Very authentic Vietnamese spot! We had the Bún Bò Huế and it was awesome — the soup was rich and flavorful. Definitely recommend, and can’t wait to come back to try more dishes!

They serve a wide range of traditional Vietnamese dishes and are known for the Bún Bò Huê, which is a beef noodle soup that is made with lemongrass, shrimp paste and chili oil. It is much more powerful and richer than your traditional pho. On first sip, this was the most flavorful Vietnamese soup dish I have ever had. Lots of umami. The beef was delicious as well, especially from the bone. There were some things in the soup that may be for the more adventurous eater including tripe(intestines) and blood cake. Interesting textures, but tasty nonetheless. Came on a Tuesday during lunch hour and this place was extremely packed, so unsure when this place isn’t busy. Staff was really nice and sat me/took my order relatively quickly considering how busy it was. Place was really clean and really big.

Im Vietnamese, and this is the best resonance of the Vietnamese beef noodle (bún bò huế) i’ve tasted of back home. They all have other Vietnamese dishes that is hard to find in the US. The atmosphere is lively and full of Vietnamese people!

This was an amazing trip to O Lien Kitchen off of federal in Denver! They have so many authentic Vietnamese dishes that you cant get at other restaurants. One of my absolute favorites is the Mi Quang, a savory noodle soup with lots of pork, shrimp and even quail eggs with a turmeric rice noodle. Its so savory and tangy! I also got to try their combo platter of different steamed rice cakes! I've definitely never had anything like it before and it was a textural delight! So chewy and light! Definitely give this place a try to branch out from just Pho and Vermicelli!
