Holiday Inn Express & Suites Denver SW-Littleton by IHG

Our stay is great. No complaints here. The best thing is we don’t get any traffic noise here. it’s so peaceful and we are actually able to sleep all night without hearing vehicles racing though the streets or highway traffic. The beds are cozy and the rooms are really pretty. Our room is so nice that it reminds me of my grandma spare bedroom I would sleep in as a child. The continental breakfast here is delicious and plentiful, the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

We stayed here last minute due to bad weather. The rooms are hot, despite turning the AC to 62. The king bed was extremely firm and not very comfortable. Breakfast instant eggs, odd sausage, no pancake batter for the pancake machine. They did have stuff to grab and go. Prepackaged muffins, etc. Five stars for the staff! Unless you want to stay next to a bar or are going somewhere close by- I’m not sure why it’s so expensive. $180 for one night didn’t seem right. It was clean but if you’ve got back issues, wouldn’t recommend. AC was a wall unit incredibly loud. Woke me up often, along with someone across the hall slamming their door repeatedly and then trying to get into it- not sure what was going on but put a door lock on our door around 2AM. I couldn’t tell what was going on but someone was repeatedly pulling on doors and pacing the hall. Maybe a spat who knows. It was super clean but I couldn’t justify the cost again. The staff was so amazing, truly.

I would give it 5 stars but our only complaint was the entire hotel was practically in a volcano. We kept our window open all night and it still didn't cool down. We stayed here in February. It was cold the day we came in and insanely hot in the lobby and our room. No matter what we did it felt like 90° at all times. The breakfast was good. Pretty basic. Pool smelled strong of sulfur but in all honesty not terrible. The pool was warm and the hot tub was nice. We enjoyed the staff all were friendly and helpful even when our cards didn't work one day. She did mention we were marked as a no show but she would look into it. Seems to be fine but will update if something comes up. It is in a beautiful location and the room was clean. We had a king room with plenty of space for our anniversary getaway. I do hope they figure out why their heating system was overworking because it didn't lead to some restless sleep.

This HIE misses the mark and doesn’t meet the standard for HIE. WiFi was out for most of our stay. The bathroom was partially painted two different colors in our room. The breakfast was consistently poor over the 4 night stay. No half and half for the coffee. Breakfast ended early on the weekend. No butter for the biscuits. Breakfast half stocked. I’ve stayed at all of the west Denver HIE in the last couple months trying to find a decent one and they are all struggling compared to what I’ve become accustomed to in other parts of the country.
