Went to Colore‘s last night to celebrate my daughter‘s 30th birthday. Had a fantastic dinner. Sierra took great care of us. The wait staff is very tentative, water glasses refilled, dirty dishes were removed, cocktails reordered. I always order the baked penny pasta, which is always delicious, my husband ordered the special of the seafood pasta. You need to always order the barrata appetizer is to die for. The peach bread pudding with hot caramel sauce is a must try on any visit. This location is half the distance to the Broadway one so this will definitely become our Italian must go to. A reservation on a Friday or Saturday is highly suggested.

Decent Italian food. Overall the vibe feels off. Wait staff acted like it was fine-dining, pretending to be well versed in lots of wines. In reality, neither wine was very good despite being promise "you'll absolutely love it" (their super Tuscan blend). Didn't find the wine list above average. Wait staff did try hard and were kind. Atmosphere feel like a brewery, with concrete floors, simple booths, table after table next to each other in the open. There is even a large table right by the kitchen with no doors, so the noise travels. Leant more towards a dimly lit pizzeria than classy Italian. Food was decent, but not amazing. Pastas with no protein ~$18, entrees ~$27. I think this is a newer location and they're still figuring themselves out. I would try their food again but to-go, until I see if the vibe gets refined. *Don't give patrons flimsy plastic to-go containers for hot food that can't even be microwaved. Those are for salads. You should know better.*

We came to Colore in Columbine for my 35th birthday with a group of 14, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Nick took great care of us and handled a large table with real attention and ease. The calamari stood out right away and the Chicken Saltimbocca was excellent. Everything came out hot, paced well, and the service felt consistent the whole night. A great place to celebrate.

Excellent addition to the neighborhood. Fresh tasty Italian fare, good service, nice environment. This area was lacking for this type of restaurant and it works very well here. Salads were fresh and light, salmon fried perfectly and delicious. Pasta is very tasty, the different sauces have all been pleasantly surprising with their taste. I enjoyed an Italian soda and a latte, espresso was quite nice.
