Incredible space! Attended the opening block party and took in artwork by Sam Falls. Gorgeous combination of existing architecture and modern additions.

This gorgeous, well-designed, privately owned space is Denver’s newest modern art museum. Developer and philanthropist, Amanda J. Precourt, found the former fortune cookie factory several years ago and has turned it into an amazing exhibition and event space. There are multiple, expansive gallery spaces, some with audiovisual setups, surrounding an outdoor courtyard and with a large plaza on the west side of the complex. The inagural show: Sam Falls--Nothing without Nature, is spectacular. The many large canvasses fit the exhibition space perfectly. The results should be amazing if this is an example of what's to come. The future plan is to work in collaboration with major artists from throughout the world to create site-specific works inspired by the local landscapes and culture. Cookie Factory is a visionary plan by a major actor in Denver’s cultural landscape and will be a significant addition to the local contemporary art scene.
