Amazing studio with wonderful caring staff! I was in a bit of a workout rut and did not want to go to my former gym. A friend of mine in another state posted about going to HOTWORX and I realize that this location had just opened. I did a free class with a friend and this type of workout rejuvenated me! I am a holistic health coach and believe in the power of detoxing and the additional health benefits of infrared sauna. Another thing that I love about working out in a sauna is sweating, I typically do not sweat much in Colorado as I do on the east coast and I missed that, especially because there are other great benefits to sweating beyond body temp regulating. Tidbits about the studio: - It’s mostly women although I have seen some men workout there on occasion and I have brought male friends, they have never commented on the fact that it’s mostly women. - It’s open 24 hours and they have safety call button Lanyards that you can bring into the sauna after hours. If you felt unsafe, you can press the button and it will directly call the police. - You can bring a different friend each time you go but only during staff hours. From what I have been told, that same friend can come with you once a month, for three months. Any time after that, they would either have to pay by the session or get a membership. - You do have to pay for the special mat and towel which I believe is around $100. You cannot bring your own mat because it will melt to the floor. - If you forget your mat and the staff is not there, they have an awesome vending machine with a key to lockers that have a mat, towel and bands that you can use for that session and then return it that day. - The vending machine also has healthy snacks and beverages as well as bands you can purchase if the staff is not around and you want to take one of the band classes. Pretty awesome! - When the staff is around, there is a full little store at the front where you can buy accessories as well as clothing. - The staff is so helpful and friendly! I typically go to gyms where you never know anyone at the front desk. All of the ladies who work here are so kind and friendly. They make you feel super welcome! - There are no lockers for your wallet, keys, etc. and they make you sign a waiver that they aren’t responsible for your items. That’s one thing I don’t like just because gym theft in the area (not HOTWORX as far as I know) has been high. Even though there is a keypad, people still walk in together and no one checks in at the desk so anyone can slide in. I would vote to add a few lockers in the very back. - There is a full weight area in the back with really good equipment! I typically do some weight training after my 30 minute workout. Even though there is a routine you can sign up and follow, you don’t have to sign up for that to use the weights and can choose to do your own routine. - There are 2 bathrooms that are always stocked with tampons for the ladies and there is only one shower. So you would need to consider that if you were going straight to work after. You probably also need to bring your own hairdryer because I do not recall ever seeing one. - Lastly, most gym goers are also very friendly! Another thing that makes this place unique. Instead of avoiding making eye contact, people occasionally have small talk and give tips about classes they like. Great community!

Ryleigh made the experience very comfortable and fun! I was somewhat nervous to show up because this is outside my comfort zone and mostly out of the realm of my ability due to various injuries. But the Hot Stretch was very enjoyable, almost even pleasant! The infrared sauna was not at all stifling nor having a sense of claustrophobia. I absolutely look forward to coming back!
