I was on foot and needed a place near the capital. The Big Little Hotel was near the capital and within walking distance to many other amenities. The building and our loft was a fun and classy one-of-a-kind stay...not the boring conformity of franchise hotels. I needed extras throughout my stay and a simple text was all I needed to get other needs met and questions answered. Super responsive and friendly. I do not leave may reviews, but I wanted to give a big thumbs up to this creative enterprise.

This is our first time visiting Denver and this Hotel was so cute and it felt like home away from home. Loved all the amenities, and the staff was easily accessible via text. My only complaint is, I wish there was a window on the second floor of our suite. My partner and I cozied up in the Story Loft, but the area where the bed was located had poor air circulation. So I ended up sleeping by the window downstairs. No major complaints about anything else. We would definitely stay again, maybe in a different room though.

Very small room. Soap dispenser in kitchen did not work, body wash dispenser in shower was broken. The Keurig style coffee maker brewed one cup of coffee, then gave up the ghost. Only one coffee mug for two people, but I suppose that's because the coffee maker only brews one cup per day. Concrete floors throughout were very cold and gave the room a 'remodeled factory' look. Even the bathroom had concrete floors! And the motion sensing light switch in the bathroom was very sensitive! Just put a regular switch there so that you don't flood the place with light when going to the bathroom in the middle of the night! On the plus side the bed was very comfortable. Could have used another pillow, or better pillows, though. Parking... good god... no parking! You have to go down a side alley, and there are a few spots available. Be careful that you don't park at the end and get trapped in the very small alley way drive!

Very cute and personalized rooms that had a lot of character. Located in a decent part of the city next to food and coffee. Very quiet and the owner was very kind. Very well stocked and clean
