Clean & long walking path. Many people use it - joggers, cyclists, people walking their dogs. It's very popular. Appears to be safe during the day but I wouldn't use it at night.

Confluence Park in Denver is a vibrant urban spot where Cherry Creek meets the South Platte River. It’s great for kayaking, biking, picnics, and enjoying city views with a touch of nature. The park can get crowded, parking is limited, and water quality varies, but its mix of trails, green space, and downtown access makes it a must-visit.

We found this beautiful park when we went for a 10km walk/scooter adventure from our hotel one morning in August. Very clean. Never felt intimidated by homelessness or others. The architecture of the local buildings and the design of the river in this area was exceptional!
