I went paddle boarding over Labor Day weekend at Gravel pond and it was an incredible experience! I’ve previously been to Boulder, but will be coming to this location from here on out! Lilly was very kind and knowledgeable during our renting process. We later met Andrew after our time slot was up and he was so genuine and helpful. We loved our time here and enjoyed how personal the employees are! The area was clean, the parking was easy, and everybody was having so much fun while being respectful of other’s spaces. The email confirmation gave clear directions on where to go as well and the price to rent was extremely reasonable. This is such a beautiful place to spend your sunny days!

My favorite place to paddleboard! The entire area is quiet, it’s easy to find parking in several lots nearby (if you arrive early), and there are a couple bathrooms on site. The loading areas for the paddleboards are also very helpful.

Kayaked here yesterday evening and it was lovely. There is plenty of parking and launch spots along the length of the pond so you shouldn’t need to haul or drag anything very far. A nice quieter place to get away from the crowd at the main reservoir and in my opinion, has some of the best views in the park. They do offer rentals here if you don’t have your own gear. It wasn’t too busy but I did come during off-peak hours. I’d be cautious of those crowds during peak days/times if you’re trying to relax. There is a smaller adjacent pond that seemed to be getting less traffic but did have a lot more trees and growth, so be careful with inflatables. Perfect for a quick and beautiful paddle!

best spot for paddle boarding. no boats so you won’t have to watch out for them. just the people swimming and snorkeling. plenty of parking and little private spots away from the crowd. there’s a rental place for paddle if you don’t have your own. dogs are allowed even on the rentals. :)
