A nice little park right next to the library. I sat here while I waited to check into my Air B&B. There are homeless people that camp right outside the library and hang out around the park. I didn’t have any issue while a enjoyed their shade and there wasn’t an egregious amount of trash. This was my first time in Denver and my first real impression of the city.

Terrible park for toddlers. Its quirky stairs does not allow toddlers to climb to the slide.

We only stopped for a short time to have a snack, but it was pleasant. I enjoyed watching the many kids play basketball and the people around seemed very kind; yes, many seemed to be experiencing hardship but there was absolutely no reason to leave. The park has a nice playground and basketball court and places to hang out.
