Amazing park. Centered around the peaceful Parkfield Lake, it can be filled with algae sometimes, but it is nice to look at. You might spot some geese or something. There is a trail surrounding the lake, so you can walk around there for a small hike. South of the lake there's green space for events. West of the lake, The Montbello Rec Center is here, with an indoor pool & recreational sports. Speaking of recreational sports, there are fields & courts to play soccer, baseball, softball, tennis, & basketball. There's a nice playground for kids, & even a skatepark above that. A wonderful park I tell you. I grew up around this area. There are picnic areas surrounding the lake to have a relaxing meal. There are 2 schools directly next to the lake, including many houses to make the park local. Only problems are the dog park, which has tons of spiky thorn things. You would want to walk your dog somewhere just walking around the fields. Also there might be trash & graffiti, but overall a great place.

Recreation hub with athletic fields & courts, picnic areas, a playground, an amphitheater & more. Lake was peaceful. Clean and friendly people. Nice place to play with the kids or walk the dog.

If this park could fix its short fences and bathroom situation, then it would be perfect. Cons: -Main bathrooms are closed for an unknown reason, and the port-a-potty's are gross. - Fence along main road is really short next to the soccer fields and allow balls to be kicked out across the main road. During one hour, I watched 3 players and 1 parent hop the fence chasing after balls. Two of which went across the busy road. It would be really smart to install tall sports fencing behind the nets. Pros: - I like that there are many different sports represented at this park. - Beautiful turf fields with clean, easy to see lines, plenty of space for teams and parents to be on the sidelines without running into the next field. Plenty of lights (though they were on during the daytime). I like that they take pride in their fields and think everything through (except preventing balls from crossing the road). -Nice established trees and shade structures throughout. - Covered solar panel parking with EV charging stations. - No dogs allowed inside the turf fenced-in areas, however you can have them outside of the fence on the grass areas. - Easy to use paths for all ages and abilities to access each area.

A pleasant place for a family hike. Plenty of water fowl (geese and ducks) and signs of predators (rabbit head and another skull). The trails are in great shape with solid drainage on a fairly wet day. Some gorgeous, giant Plains Cottonwood trees and Narrow Leaf Cottonwoods. Lots of adventures for my 3 and 4 year olds.
