Hours are wrong. I don't think they're open weekdays despite the door being unlocked as we were turned away by a few people just sitting and chatting inside. They looked at us very strangely and told us they weren't open. Sign on their door implies they might only be open fridays. /Very/ odd interaction, wouldn't be surprised if it's a front for something

On a Friday night during the art walk, this may be my favorite dive in all of Denver. This historic neighborhood mainstay draws a crowd that spans multiple backgrounds and generations. The house band is a ton of fun. Go for a beer and stay for the blues. This place is pretty old school. Not a bad idea to bring cash.

Stumbled upon this place during artwalk and so glad I did. This vintage little bar has got some killer old black and white tile and a great, diverse clientele. There was a really good band playing the night I went. I knocked off one star because the drinks seemed pricey (I think it was $6 for a normal PBR can). I will definitely go back for the authentic feel, though!

The First Friday of every month year-round is just the best. The house band plays some of the best blues in the city. How these cats have not been discovered is beyond me. So stop in, have a beer and grin your face tired.
