Parfet Park is such a gem in the heart of Golden! It’s a beautiful green space with plenty of room to relax, walk around, or enjoy a picnic with family and friends. The views of the surrounding mountains make it feel extra special, and the park always has such a welcoming, community vibe. It’s also a great spot for kids to run around (but watch them because there are busy roads on two sides of it), and there are often fun local events and gatherings happening here, which really bring the park to life. Whether you’re just passing through Golden or live nearby, Parfet Park is the perfect place to unwind and soak in the charm of this little mountain town.

Don’t know how it constitutes a park, but it’s got some trees, some benches and shade on a hot day- which is the most crucial. Right next to Clear Creek with multiple entry points, but it’s near the end of the creek, before you presumably float into the Coors factory where they process unsuspecting victims into their next draft beer or something to that effect.

This is a great town and great location to hangout and enjoy the scenery with friends. My wife and I went tubing down clear creek and had a blast! The water current does move fast and I recommend wearing life jackets and water shoes.
