Really lovely hostess and host. Seemed like genuinely nice folks after my quick conversations with them! They were helpful recommending dishes and excited about Denver Restaurant Week. The lamb here is probably the second best I’ve ever had (next to Zahav)—it’s worth coming just for that I think. The rest of my meal was pretty mediocre unfortunately. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the widely criticized service charge…. I always feel awkward when a 20% service charge is added and I’m told I need to tip on top of that. I am all for paying folks appropriately, but please price your menu accordingly so that your customers don’t have to deal with this awkward interaction at the end of their meal. Am I supposed to tip my normal 20% on top of the 20% service charge? That feels steep. Especially when the markup on my meal price to the out the door price was already 40+%. All that being said, I’m sure I’ll be back for some more of that lamb, and I’ll try different menu items to supplement it next time! Rated this a 7.9 on beli.

The food here is terrible for the price. We paid for the preset menu which was $45 (without tip+tax). Pita was warm but too soft and almost tasted raw. Dips were fine but nothing special. The steak and potatoes were incredibly disappointing and a small portion. The potatoes were literally just boiled with salt/pepper on them. The chicken bowl had a burnt flavor and did not taste good. Baklava was drowning and syrup and way, way too sweet, although it was a good portion. The grapefruit sorbet was pretty good. I would not recommend this place at any price point.

We did restaurant week here but I feel like they changed the menu after we already made a reservation. Overall, it was good but overpriced imo. The interior was really unique though.

We have visited this restaurant twice. Our first experience was great, which is why we returned. During that visit, we noticed the good quality of the drinks and food, although the portion sizes felt a bit small for the price. The service was outstanding, both the waitress and bartender were very helpful and attentive. Our second visit, however, was less smooth. The host seemed overwhelmed, and when we asked for a table, we were told we could wait either at the bar or in the neighboring restaurant. We chose to sit at the bar and ordered drinks, the bartender was friendly and helpful. We waited there for our table, and asked twice about it; even though the table was ready the host was more preoccupied with staff than helping us, so we ended up having dinner at the bar. The food was delicious, but unfortunately, we found a hair on one of the plates. The bartender handled the situation very professionally, arranged a discount with the host, and was understanding throughout. However, the host brought the check without acknowledging or apologizing for the incident, which was disappointing. Overall, while the food and drink were great, the inconsistent service during our second visit affects our overall experience.
