Azucar Bakery

My husband and I were married on September 11, 2025, at the Ashley Ridge by Wedgewood venue, an all-inclusive facility. As part of our package, we utilized Azucar Bakery for our wedding cake. The initial consultation and design process were seamless, and we communicated our desire for a semi-naked, three-tier cake with accompanying cupcakes. While we were highly satisfied with the flavors and the overall effort put into the cake, the final design did not fully align with our expectations. Specifically, the semi-naked aesthetic was not adequately achieved, with minimal exposed cake visible. Additionally, the cupcake arrangement did not meet our request for a mixed display, as the flavors were segregated. Overall, we rate the experience an 8/10. The owner's service was exceptional; however, the visual execution of the cake did not fully reflect our vision.

Great customer service, everyone was very friendly. They were very accommodating when there was some confusion about the pickup time and even delivered the cake!! We ordered a beautiful Tres Leches cake for my husbands birthday and it came out perfect! Thank you so much!

While azucar makes wonderful cakes, their ordering process is such a deterrent. Perhaps that’s by design. I had requested pricing for a cake almost two weeks ago and only received one message for a follow up question. When I responded, I did not receive a response back. While I understand everyone is very busy, customers are also busy and it makes planning for a party almost impossible. Thankfully I was able to find another vendor quickly, but the service is honestly unacceptable. If you don’t have capacity to take orders, just say that— don’t leave people hanging.

The pastries are amazing. The cupcakes, cakes, empanadas are delicious! They also make fantastic custom cakes!!
