I stayed at The Maven Hotel at Dairy Block (walking distance from Union Station) for a week for work. The staff were outstanding — every request or issue was handled within minutes. There’s also a complimentary shuttle within a two-mile radius, which made getting around easy. The hotel has onsite dining options if you don’t want to venture out. Kachina Cantina serves fry bread tacos that are excellent, and there are also several counter-style spots in the building. The rooms have an industrial aesthetic, but some design choices prioritize style over function. The swing chair is more novelty than useful, and the metal stools in the room are wobbly and not very comfortable. A few things to note for longer stays: no refrigerator in the room, no vending machines for water (though there are filtered water stations) and only a very small trash can in the bathroom. Housekeeping is also on demand rather than daily. Overall: Great staff, location, and food options. The rooms look cool but could use a few more practical touches, especially for longer stays. Best for short work trips or travelers who value service and location.

Our flights were cancelled and we were diverted to Denver after not sleeping for 24-48 hours. I booked on the train from the airport and by the time we got off the train and walked (4 minute walk from the train - very convenient btw!!) to the hotel, our room was already ready which I was incredibly grateful for! The woman at the front desk was lovely as well, actually all staff were during our stay. The rooms were cozy, clean and modern. The bathroom spacious, and gorgeous. Stocked with makeup wipes, and everything you need. Also, free churros (Best churros I’ve had too - weird because it’s a free churro at a hotel 😂) and free drink tickets. They also offer rides within 2 miles. Through and through there were thoughtful touches throughout. This will be our go-to place from now on.

This was such a fun unique place to stay with our two small Chiweenies. Our room had an odd set up, a long work desk, a hanging chair in the corner, and a sliding barn door for the bathroom. It seemed odd at first but the long desk was awesome to sit and eat our late night snack watching TV. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet. We had to leave our dogs for about four hours but when we returned they were lounging in the sun that came through the sliding glass door to the balcony. Now the swing chair made sense! The front desk staff was incredible, even offering all natural doggy treats to our dogs (they were too excited to take them at the time but were happy to have them in the room). Lots of choices of food right there in the "lobby". The only downside would be larger dogs having a place to go potty. Ours could use the tiny dirt around the small trees on the street (yes, we pick up after them). We will definitely be staying with them again soon. It is within walking distance of Ball Arena and Empower Field. Great restaurants within blocks too.

Stayed here for the first time to ring in 2026, and this place is......just okay. The best things about this property were the location, its proximity to restaurants, the room being really quiet, and the front desk agent at check-in being really friendly. Other than that, our room was underwhelming. Both queen mattresses didn't feel like pillowtops, they were both starting to dip in the middle, and we could feel the bed springs while laying on them. The mattresses felt cheap, which was disappointing for a 4-star hotel. Our room didn't have a blow dryer in it, and while that may not seem like a huge deal, that's a very basic hospitality amenity that we didn't have here. In-room furnishings could definitely use some TLC, as the top of the desk and the middle nightstand were significantly scratched and chipped. At check-out, we were charged a separate $35-ish "amenity fee" (as it was described to us). Despite us booking this stay through a 3rd party, nowhere was that amenity fee mentioned, and we're still wondering what "amenities" that fee is supposed to cover. Considering the state of the room furnishings, the $100 per night incidental hold is a bit excessive. I'm willing to give this place another shot if property management can step in to fix these things. Location alone isn't enough to make up for these shortcomings.
