I have to say, I’ve eaten at a lot of Italian restaurants in my time, and this is truly one of the best I’ve ever experienced. The flavors especially stood out because they reminded me so much of my mother’s homemade cooking. The sandwiches were fantastic, and everything was fresh and delicious. Thank you—Lou’s did not disappoint. I’m really looking forward to coming back again soon. 🍝❤️

This place is the real deal! Super nice staff and great quality, authentic Italian deli food. The bread is unbelievable, perfect crunch but not too hard and nice and soft on the inside. Tried three sandwiches here in the span of a week while staying near RINO - kept coming back because it was THAT good. Highly recommend the Lou and the Chix Parm; the Turkey/Eggplant special is also fire. I get the vibe you can’t go wrong… Great happy hour deals at 3pm too, which I unfortunately did not get to take advantage of. Next time!

Smells like little Italy as soon as you walk in. The guy behind the counter is knowledgeable and friendly. The managers or owners are great as well. Everyone seems to enjoy being employed there which is comforting. Food is amazing! You can always tell a good Italian restaurant by its sauce and this place is not missing a beat. From their hot chicken cutlet sandwich which is a must try, to the eggplant Parmesan which is also great! Cannoli are fabulous and pretty much anything in the menu will be great! We love coming here. We try to arrive before the dinner rush and after lunch rush due to limited seating. We have not had any issues with not finding a place to sit.

GOATED! Growing up outside of Philadelphia has left me searching for a reasonable fix. I haven’t found that fix until today. Most hoagies or sandwiches I’ve tried around Denver are lacking a proper delivery vessel that stays clean and crisp on the outside, doesn’t fall apart and can hold the moisture in the inside. Lou’s uses an Amaroso like roll that is cut out for the tough role of containing sharp provolone, porchetta, and broccoli rabe. Which, actually, was better than the last one I had at Redding terminal market. Also would like to add that the inside of the store was one of the cleanest establishments I’ve been in.
