Hogshead Brewery

Have visited Hogshead a number of times to try the beers. Very tasty brews. One of the best in town. Really enjoyed the Cook Lane. I could still taste it an hour after drinking one. Yummy!

For those that only drink keg beer, you're missing out on Robert's skillfully-created, huge selection of saporous, cask-conditioned ales! Dave and crew create a collegial atmosphere that extends to the neighborhood. They have a huge, pet-friendly patio, and if you insist on drinking keg beers, they have those too. They are a little off the beaten path but once you find it, you'll find yourself going back.

Great beer (incl. traditional British ales), wonderful indoor & outdoor space but why am I being asked for a minimum 20% tip just to buy a beer? Please change your payment kiosk so the tip is an optional extra not a requirement.

Nice brewery that offers a lot of cask brews. So if you're into that, this is your place! Had the cask porter which was excellent. Also had the hog wild ipa, very good.. and the dortmunder, which was good. I would recommend a stop here.. also dog friendly on the porch!
